Course Description

• The BEng (Hons) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering by the University of York helps students study the principles and practicalities of electrical and electronic engineering, as well as honing essential skills in mathematics and computer programming
• This program ensures students learn the principles, circuits, systems, and solutions at the intersection of the disciplines, covering areas such as power electronics and motor drives, renewable energies, energy generation and distribution, smart grids, and energy management
• The well-structured curriculum offers core modules including Mathematics, Digital Circuits, Introduction to Programming, Engineering Design, Java Programming, Semiconductor Devices and Circuits, and Communication Systems
• During the final year, students choose optional courses such as Accounting and Finance, Analogue Engineering, LAN and Internet Protocols, Nanoelectronics, Mobile Communication Systems, and Digital Communication Systems
• After graduation, students find employment in various fields and go on to play professional roles including Software Engineer, Project Executive, Service Desk Analyst, Audit Associate, App Developer, Business Consultant, Digital Signal Processing Engineer, Electrical Consultant, Environmental Technician, Front End Developer, Research Technologist, and Sound and Lighting Engineer
