Course Description
- A highly demanding Dundee program, the MBChB Medicine is accredited by the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management (FMLM)
- Throughout the course, students learn about body systems, examining normal and abnormal function before exploring clinical cases, and anatomy by dissection
- Expert academics and practitioners help students learn through traditional lectures, problem-based lectures, case-based lectures, and team-based lectures
- Students have the opportunity to undertake ward-based placements, clinical placements, and Dundee Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (DLIC)
- After graduation, students go into a 2-year foundation program and join the field as a junior doctor and later apply for further study and training in a medical specialism such as cardiology, gynecology, or emergency medicine, or go into general practice as a general practitioner (GP)
